How Does ClearPoint Water Work?


Step 1: Choose Your Cooler

Ordering is simple: Compare the coolers on the ClearPoint Water Shop Page.

Once you’ve decided, check out using our secure shopping cart. If you have any questions about our different cooler models, give us a call at 800.331.7443.


Step 2: Cooler Road Trip

We typically ship out your new ClearPoint Water "BottleLess" Cooler to you via Fedex or UPS within one business day of your order. Transit time is usually 1-4 business days once it leaves our warehouse.

Step 3: ClearPoint Cooler Set Up

OK, It’s time to get it set up. Either you can install it yourself or we can have a technician do it for you.

Option 1: Set It Up Yourself

If you do it yourself, you’ll use the included installation kit and follow our step-by-step online instructional videos and/or the manual.

Let’s say you’re switching from renting someone else’s BottleLess cooler to a ClearPoint cooler. If so, set up is really easy. The current bottleLess water cooler just needs to be unplugged from the water connection (we show you how to do this) – and the new ClearPoint BottleLess water cooler needs to be plugged in to the existing water tube. (We show you how to do that, too.)


Option 2: A technician can set it up for you

ClearPoint has a national network of trained independent technicians who can set up your cooler for you (the water “tube” is already there - or can perform a complete installation (we need to bring the waterway from the sink to your new cooler). If you’d like ClearPoint to have one of our technicians install your new cooler for you, no problem.

Just Add Cooler Installation to your shopping cart (only $199) while you are buying your cooler. We have certified technicians in every zip code in the 48 continental United States. Please note – we only install coolers purchased from ClearPoint Water.

(You can always order installation at a later time) If you are replacing an existing bottleLess water cooler: ClearPoint Water has a “Set Up Service” for only $99 if the waterway is already in place. We’ll come out and set up your cooler for you when a complete installation isn’t necessary.

Every 6 or 12 Months, Change The Water Filter

To keep your water pure, just change the filter cartridge. How often? A small office (less than 10) or a home normally changes the filters once a year. An office with more than 10 people using the cooler, will want to change the filter twice a year.

The filters cost $79 each – but are discounted when you buy 2 pack or more.

To change the cartridge, just twist to the left (to remove it) – then twist a new one to the right. It takes about 2 minutes (or less). We’ll send you an email reminder and you can get them right on our Shop Page or Amazon.
